Ms. Courtney's Stone Crabs

Hope everyone has a wonderful winter break! I have sent home a packet to be finished over the two weeks. It includes a reading log and a explorer project.  Students should aim to read about 20 minutes a day!  Also we will be looking for parent volunteers for a field trip to the humane society on January 23rd . Just a heads up incase anyone would like to volunteer. Please just let Ms. Yuri or Mrs. Jackie  know or send in a note with your student.  One more thing, we will be starting spelling tests after the winter break. These will be on sight words as well as what they have been learning in literacy lessons. The spelling lists will be sent out on Monday and spelling tests will be held on Friday. They will have time to practice in class but should be studying these at home as well.  Thanks! 

Come join us for our thanksgiving feast on Friday November 16th! We will be having thanksgiving performances and lunch.

We have had an exciting first month of school getting back in the swing of things! We kicked off the year with a successful spirit day full of fun and games. Also we have been refreshing our brains on math and literacy concepts as well as learning about the human body and nutrition in science. Here are some pictures from our adventures!
