Winter break updates

Hope everyone has a wonderful winter break! I have sent home a packet to be finished over the two weeks. It includes a reading log and a explorer project. 

Students should aim to read about 20 minutes a day! 

Also we will be looking for parent volunteers for a field trip to the humane society on January 23rd . Just a heads up incase anyone would like to volunteer. Please just let Ms. Yuri or Mrs. Jackie  know or send in a note with your student. 

One more thing, we will be starting spelling tests after the winter break. These will be on sight words as well as what they have been learning in literacy lessons. The spelling lists will be sent out on Monday and spelling tests will be held on Friday. They will have time to practice in class but should be studying these at home as well.
